Hey there, job seekers!

Ready to start a career you’re going to love?

Are you frustrated about feeling like you’re not even qualified for an entry-level position?

Are you tired of not hearing back from employers?

What if I told you that finding and landing a job doesn’t have to mean endless scrolling on job boards and applying to hundreds of jobs only to feel like all of your efforts are going into a void?

“Laurie has completely transformed the way I search and apply for jobs in the best way possible! She has helped me apply for jobs and feel more confident in what I submit to companies. She’s a fantastic Career Coach because she is an incredibly caring and patient person. I’m grateful to have her through my post-grad journey.”

What would it feel like to:

  • Know what jobs will help you reach your career goals rather than endlessly scrolling job postings
  • Have a knockout resume, cover letter, and portfolio that actually help you get noticed by any employer instead of blindly editing your job application materials and hoping for the best
  • Have the networking skills to meet potential coworkers who will happily refer you for positions without feeling like you’re inconveniencing people you reach out to
  • Have the ability to go into any (virtual) interview and blow the interviewer(s) away with your skills and confidence rather than feeling fearful of being stumped by a question
  • Accept a job offer that isn’t just any job. But a job that you know will help you launch your career

Sounds like a fantasy, right? It’s not! In fact, it’s a reality that is so much closer and so much easier than you think.

“Laurie simplifies the overwhelming job search process while helping you create your best interview strategy and aligning your wants and needs to identify the best-fit job for YOU.

I love that she focuses not just on that first job, but on the larger picture and kept reminding me that every position I take should have a purpose and still be a good fit for ME. She goes beyond the standard job advice you can find all over the internet!”

Ready to start a career you’re going to love?

One-on-one coaching is exactly what you need!

I was looking for a career coach that would help me understand a job post and write a resume and cover letter. But what I got was much more; I learned how to use the skills I already possessed and apply them to jobs that I never believed I was qualified for.

I want people to know that it is worth investing in the 10 coaching sessions if you’re having a hard time in your job hunt.

I no longer fear the application process. I move through it with more ease and feel confident once my application is submitted. I know I have all of the tools and resources to put together a great application and let passions, strengths, and personality shine through.

Laurie was great to work with and I would do it all over again!

I get it. I’ve been there too.

Long story short — my first job hunt was a mess and it lasted for a long time.

I applied to so many jobs and despite following all of the advice out there, I hardly heard back from employers!

Eventually, I landed an internship that led to a full-time job, but it wasn’t until I had the chance to lead the recruiting process for an internship program that I finally realized where I went wrong during that first job hunt (and it’s what a lot of job hunters today regardless of how long they’ve been working are missing too). I was missing a job-hunting strategy that was designed specifically for me…one that emphasized what made me stand out from other candidates.

Since this realization, I’ve been devoted to helping job seekers navigate the job hunting process in a way that makes them shine.

“When I had my first consultation with Laurie, I was blown away.

Laurie was not only insightful and knowledgeable, but she was genuinely kind. From the moment we started talking, I immediately felt Laurie’s vested interest in helping me succeed. She immediately connected me to people in her professional network and gave me practical and good advice on how to excel early in my career.

What really stood out to me was her willingness to help me create and facilitate my own network.

Laurie is simply phenomenal at what she does and I am incredibly thankful for her!”

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What kind of payment plans are available?

On our discovery call, we will discuss a payment plan that works best for you. Typically, we allow clients to stretch out their plan for 12 months. We do NOT charge interest.

2. What if I don't have the money?

Here’s what I’ve learned about investing in yourself—you’re either paying with time or money. When you try to figure things out on your own, you’re choosing to pay with time. Yes, you can make it all on your own, but you’ll have to make loads of mistakes and go in circles for quite some time. Meanwhile, because the job-hunting process is hard mentally and emotionally, your self-esteem will continue to drop. Oftentimes, people who choose to pay with time find themselves at a crossroads — take the first job offer even if it’s something you know won’t make you happy and end up job hunting again in a year or so or find someone to coach them and start paying with money.
When you decide to find a coach, you’re choosing to pay with money. With this option, you get to go through the job-hunting process with someone who’s been there. Someone who can show you what works, what doesn’t work, and how to forge your own path. If you don’t have the funds to make a payment in full, I totally understand that. That’s why I would love to offer you a payment plan. Just mention it in our discovery plan and I would be more than happy to set something up for you.

3. What is your refund policy?

We do not offer refunds for 1:1 coaching.

First, 1:1 coaching takes a lot of energy and commitment on both ends.

Second, what it comes down to is mindset. If you start this program thinking you have the option for a refund if you don’t get what you want, you’re less likely to put in the time and effort it takes to succeed.
Whereas if you go into this program knowing there’s no refund, you start knowing you have to make the most of what you invested and will be more likely to see the results you want and deserve.

4. How are sessions scheduled?

Once your payment has been processed, I will give you a link to my calendar where you can book all of your calls. If for some reason you need to cancel/reschedule a session, please have the same courtesy as I would for you and do it 24 hours in advance. I get that things come up so we will simply reschedule after you’ve let me know you are unable to attend.

“Thank you, Laurie, for designing a system that really works.

So many students and new graduates don’t understand the importance of their first job and are often-times convinced any job will do.

Your system walks young professionals through the nuts and bolts of job applications while also showing them how to determine and secure the “right” job for them.

I have been consulting students for over fifteen years and have never seen a system that explains exactly how to find their ‘best-fit’ job and why that is so important for their career track. I will continue referring my students to your course as the best resource for job acquisition.”
